I CIURI: Un Fantastico viaggio tra i preziosi della gioielleria Salini Salvatore

Hello my precious friends!

Today I want to tell you about my recent experience in the marvellous and ever-enchanting Sicily. I’m going to tell you how an ordinary working day quickly turned into a vacation day thanks to the Salini family’s warm hospitality, and into an incredible learning experience thanks to some excellent professionals. But first things first…

Gioielleria Salini Salvatore is one of the oldest and best-known jewellery stores in Catania. Their wonderful boutique truly impressed me for a lot reasons. Apart from the obvious elegance of the place, I was quite surprised to see how many customers visited the shop, even on a gloomy and rainy midweek, as a result of the owners’ kind and professional attitude.

Not only does Gioielleria Salini Salvatore retails some of the most highly-regarded branded products in Italy, but it also sells in-house made magnificent collections. I’m talking about fine jewellery made by renown master goldsmiths. True masterpieces come to life thanks to Salvatore Salini and his son Marco’s careful selection of precious stones.

Each piece of jewellery come from their love and passion for their work, and is designed and almost taylor-made for every client. This is why Salini’s pieces of jewellery can live through the time, and pass their history across generations.

Over the wonderful time I spent in Catania, I was Ambassador for the collection “I Ciuri” (“The flowers,” in dialect), tiny masterpieces that, like Sicilian colourful flowers, are small outbreaks of colours. Rings, ear-rings, necklaces and bracelets with geometric yet sinous shaped diamonds, sapphires, emeralds and rubies; stylized flowers, suitable for wearing on any occasion.

Again: it was an extraordinary experience. No words can describe the warm welcome I received. Working with a team that is on a par with the jewellery I wore was awesome: make-up artists and photographer, hairdressers and stylists. We worked against a gorgeous location and under Marco and his close associate Giada’s watchful eyes.

I recommend that all my Sicilian friends and those passing through Catania drop in on Gioielleria Salini Salvatore at Via Gabriele D’Annunzio 104/A for a looking around. For online purchases, check out their collections on the Facebook page www.gioielleriasalini.it and on the Instagram page @gioielleria_salini.

I’ll be back soon, my beloved readers, with new recommendations from the world of jewellery!
